Hospice Care in Utah

There is a great article today in the Salt Lake Tribune about Cancer & Hospice care in Utah. Most notably, the article highlights the high rates of hospice use in Utah. According to Medicare, only 19.3% of Salt Lake City patients died in a hospital, compared to 29% nationally! Why is that important? Because most seniors say they want to remain at home, with their families in their final days.

Check out the article here: Utah Cancer Patients Less Likely to Die in Hospitals.
